habemus.world is an informational website. We collect very little data, and we will always be transparent about what we do collect and why.
01 Who we are
habemus.world is operated by Habemus Media S.A.S..
02 What data we collect and why
We collect data in two ways:
Contact form. When you fill out our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the message you send. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share this data with third parties.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors navigate the site (which pages are visited, how long people stay, what country they come from). This data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify you personally from it.
03 Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. habemus.world uses only two types:

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any cookie that builds a profile of you for commercial purposes.
04 Managing cookies
You can disable or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling Google Analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site in any way.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
05 Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. The only third party that receives data from your visit is Google (via Google Analytics), which processes it under its own Privacy Policy. Google may process this data in the United States.
06 Data retention
Messages received via the contact form are kept only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and are then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted.
07 Your rights
Regardless of where you are located, you can:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you
- Request that we correct or delete it
- Object to us processing it

08 Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
